Okay fam, it's been three days of this non-stop party wedding and I am wiped. Before you ask me why I am doing this, let me remind you that it is an amalgamation of things we love most: Bollywood and weddings. So, calm down.
1. A lot happened over the last three days but the most important thing, obviously, is that fashionista supreme Sonam Kapoor married her longtime boyfriend, fashion entrepreneur, Anand Ahuja.
3. Even Anand got some mehendi on his hand — specifically in the shape of an elephant and a design on his ring finger.
4. The elephant mehendi is not random. It comes from a long-running tradition of Sonam leaving the elephant emoji in his Instagram comments.
5. Btw, one of their wedding hashtags was #EverydayPhenomenal, which has been their love story hashtag as well. Just adding that you can combust with joy.
6. You could tell how excited she was because of how she danced with her parents, Anil and Sunita Kapoor.
7. ... And then her sister added this picture of her glowing in her Anupama Vakil outfit.
8. The joy was palpable in this adorable moment between the couple.
9. And my favourite part? Sonam dancing with zero fucks and all the joy in the world.
10. Rhea had her best friend, Shehlaa Khan, feed her on time because #priorities.
11. While most brides are always uncomfortable, Sonam just chilled in her pyjamas to get ready for the next day.
12. In the middle of these festivities, a lot of Sonam's friends and fam got very emotional. One of them being her uncle, Sanjay Kapoor, who posted this throwback photo on his Instagram.
13. And there was another from fashion designer and her bridesmaid, Masaba Gupta.
14. Let's cut to the official Mehendi party on May 7 featuring all of Bollywood and the ~actual~ stars.
16. Sonam wore this stunning Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation in ivory, to fit the theme of the evening — Shades of White.
17. The dress was actually ordered two years ago and took 18 whole months to complete.
18. Swara Bhasker posted these lovely pictures with her BFF, with a message to her new husband.
19. Badshah joined the party and he tried to keep it PG by telling people to not curse on camera, but noooope.
20. Arjun Kapoor posted this wishful Instagram story shipping himself with Katrina Kaif.
22. Janhvi Kapoor dreading the kaleera dropping on her was all of us dreading shaadi questions in our 20s.
Just FYI: This is a tradition specifically for single girls to take part in, where they tie kaleeras on the bride's wrist and then she shakes them on their head. If it falls on someone's head, she is said to be allegedly married in the year.
23. Jacqueline, on the other hand, was very upset.
24. There was more cuddly dancing to club music happy to spend the rest of their lives together. 😍
28. Anil Kapoor, of course, was peak Punjabi dad dancing at his daughter's wedding. He also dragged Karan Johar and Shilpa Shetty along.
29. Still in promo mode, Sonam got on stage and danced to "Tareefan" with Anand.
30. At some point, Karisma also danced to it.
Oh, and Jacqueline, Varun Dhawan and Rhea Kapoor...
32. Badshah took over the DJ console and ended up singing "Saturday Saturday" with Varun Dhawan.
33. Rhea Kapoor nailed the fine line between style and comfort with her sneaker-lehenga combo.

34. Anand very cutely danced with his mother-in-law, Sunita Kapoor. And someone... put doggy filters on them?
37. Swara Bhasker told Varun Dhawan to stop taking indie roles away from other actors.
38. Jacqueline got overexcited and sang along to "Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan" with Sonam.
39. May 8 began with Sonam and Anand finally tying the knot in the Anand Kaaraj ceremony and it looks like they had a lot of fun doing it too.
44. The paparazzi were excited too. Maybe a little too excited.
45. She was brought in by her brothers, Arjun and Harshvardhan.
46. Sonam and Anand had this adorable moment while they were getting married, hence exploding my already full heart.
48. Oh, and in the middle of the day, they just cahj dropped the album for Veere Di Wedding because chance pe dance.
50. ... with this sexist AF cake top. Guys, it's 2018. Why are women still looked at as "dragging" men into marriage and away from fun?

53. Ranveer and Arjun really tried hard to sing "Masakali" and failed.
54. The party then moved on to the reception later in the evening where Sonam Kapoor wore an Anamika Khanna lehenga.
55. Anand even showed off his new wife to the world as any good husband should.
AFTER THAT, my dear friends, was when the party REALLY began so pour yourself a drink because it is gon' get realllyyy WILD.
57. Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan danced to "Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara" which Mika sang to them. ICONIC.
58. Karan Johar delivered the most 🔥🔥🔥🔥 sangeet performance and now this is who I want at my wedding.
59. Arjun Kapoor went live on Instagram with Ranveer Singh, where the two of them showed how much they love each other.
60. Anil Kapoor OBVIOUSLY danced to "My Name Is Lakhan".
61. Kareena drunk-danced to "Taarefaan" because promo nahi rukta, bitches.
62. And mostly, there is a lot of comfort in knowing that Kareena's signature drunk dancing move is to sway, glass in hand, giving us a glimpse of Poo in her 30s.
63. Swara Bhasker reacted to Kareena Kapoor as any normal person should.
64. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan sang a song from "Karan Arjun" to Sunita Kapoor, despite her wanting NONE of it.
65. At some point, the groom was lifted off the ground by none other than Ranveer Singh.
67. People shouted "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" at Sonam instead of singing it to her.
68. And till 4 a.m., successively drunk selfies of really famous people lit up our Instagram feeds.
69. THANKS FOR PAYING ATTENTION, FAM. IT WAS A LONG EVENT AND IT WAS A CRAZY THREE DAYS BUT SUCH A GREAT CELEBRATION OF LOVE AND AFFECTION.
