Ranveer Singh is the hot favorite among the fans right now, especially after delivering back-to-back hits, he has proven that he is the ultimate box-office king. With Padmaavat’s success, he has set his own benchmark.

IPL is all set to hit start and we hear that Ranveer will be performing in the opening ceremony which will commence on 7th April. Well, what’s more exciting is that the actor is apparently being paid a huge paycheck for his performance.
As per the reports, the actor is likely to be paid Rs 5 crore for a 15-minute long performance. A source revealed, “He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organising team was always clear that they wanted Ranveer as a performer and that’s why he has been offered such a huge amount.”
The source further added, “His appeal cuts across cities, age-groups and has an equally big fan following among men and women. That’s why the organisers felt that he is the perfect fit for the performance at this year’s IPL opening ceremony.”
On the work front, Ranveer is currently busy with Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt and is being directed by Zoya Akhtar. The actor will also be seen in Simmba opposite Sara Ali Khan. It is being helmed by Rohit Shetty.
